So many people discriminate against race
Why is it they forget God’s mercy and grace
We are children of God, one and all
So why is it then by name calling we fall
The names, the words, the constant stares
To me I don’t think that these are fair
We are equal, we are one
United together by God’s own Son
Don’t judge other’s by the color of their skin
Being born different is not and will never be a sin
We were made for some specific season
Uniquely colored for God’s divine reason
Don’t crack jokes, don’t repeat names
At the end of our lives the soul still remains
Life and death are held in the power of our tongues
And should only be used for the praise of God to be sung
Stop your racial thoughts, swallow all your pride
Don’t make others feel like they should run and hide
Look them in the eye, speak soft and kind
Racism and prejudice is only in the mind
Love your sisters, lift up your brothers
Bless, protect, and encourage all others
Do unto others as you would do unto you
You know how it feels to be left out too
Stop the poison that started so long ago
We aren’t bound by our ancestor’s control
We are different, we need to make a change
Loving one and all is really not that strange
This generation must lead the way
To the reunion of all races today
We must unite before its too late
For we don’t know God’s returning date
Lets get going, God told us to love
He is watching us from His place above
Let’s make Him proud, show Him we care
Each and every one of us is His perfect pair
Lets grab hands and raise them in high
We must come together, we can’t just try
Love your diverse family in the Lord
For this is a valuable and priceless award
