There are so many beautiful and wonderful things that happen in the morning. What are some of your favorites?
The morning has a specialness about it that God gave when He created it. There's just something about a new day. The dew drops sparkling on the grass, the sunlight gleaming off of the deep green leaves on the trees and the beams piercing through the colorful clouds of the dawn. The birds have the most beautiful songs to greet the morning light and in the summer, the sounds of crickets chirping fills the air. There is the cool breeze that blows in the morning over a world waking up to a new day. This is the best time to spend with the Lord, in the very first hours of the morning letting Him start your day by filling your mind with fruitful and wonderful thoughts for the day. I love the sound of laughter or soft morning voices coming from the bedroom where my children have slept and the good morning kisses and snuggling that this time brings. Remember to be thankful for the morning.
Lord thank you for Your faithfulness and the love and grace You show us each morning with the rising of the sun. Let us never take for granted these special times and may we always find the joy, even through the trials we face in life. Allow us to greet the morning with a new outlook and a new desire to serve You, making the most of each moment, for we never know when will be our last. Amen.
